Wedding Photographer Glasgow

As a Glasgow wedding photographer I feel it’s very important to capture your special day as you remember it rather than try and choreograph everything with posed photos.

It’s always nice to have a few family group photos to look back on but they shouldn’t take over your wedding day. You’ll want to spend the time with your friends and family, some of whom you might not have seen for a while.

As a wedding photographer in Glasgow, I want to tell the story of your special day in a series of relaxed, natural candid photos. I’ll focus in on those little moments, glances, gestures, smiles, laughter and the odd tear! It’s all part of the emotion of the day. Most of the time you’ll hardly noice I’m there. In fact many couples tell me afterwards they hardly knew they were being photographed. My approach is very subtle and relaxed and I often just blend into the background. When it comes to taking some shots of the two of you together I’ll suggest a few backdrops for the photos but will just encourage you to be yourselves and enjoy the moment.

As a photographer, I know a lot of the wedding venues in Glasgow and the rest of Scotland but if I’m not familiar with one I’ll always do a recce beforehand. I will also meet up with you beforehand to get to know you a little and find out more about your plans for the day.

If this sounds like the approach you’d like for your wedding, I’d love to hear from you.
